Key Responsibilities- Conduct Comprehensive Evaluations: Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose speech and language disorders, including articulation, language, and cognitive-communication disorders.
- Develop and Implement Therapy Plans: Create and implement individualized therapy plans to address the needs of each client, including speech, language, and cognitive-communication goals.
- Provide Direct Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services to clients, including individual and group therapy sessions, to ensure effective outcomes.
- Collaborate with Clients and Families: Collaborate with clients, families, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into daily routines and ensure a comprehensive approach to care.
- Maintain Records: Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions, progress, and treatment plans to ensure accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Stay Current with Best Practices: Stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology to ensure the highest level of care for clients.
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology: Possess a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid State Licensure and Certification: Hold valid state licensure and certification, such as CCC-SLP, to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Strong Interpersonal and Organizational Skills: Possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills to work effectively in a collaborative team setting.
- Experience with Diverse Caseloads: Prefer experience working with diverse caseloads, including children and adults with various speech and language disorders.
- Ability to Work in a Collaborative Team Setting: Possess the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team setting to ensure a comprehensive approach to care.
