Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team at Amentum. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the daily upkeep of the Maintenance Activities databases, utilizing the Naval Tactical Command Support System (NTCSS) to perform a variety of functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage print requests and printer configurations
  • View and monitor system information, broadcast messages, and manage log-in capabilities
  • Monitor server processes, schedules, and rejects jobs
  • Maintain pre-defined jobs and system security
  • Advise on matters pertaining to OOMA inputs, extracts, analyzes, and validates maintenance data
  • Develop and interpret management reports
  • Monitor data and parameters for up-line reporting and related interface requirements
  • Maintain, issue, and dispose of aircraft, engine, and associated component equipment logs and records
  • Maintain inventory records, including aircraft and engine reports, in accordance with applicable instructions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Business or Management discipline, or Associate's degree plus 4 years of additional work experience, or 8 years of additional work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of recent aircraft maintenance support experience as a DBA/A in the United States Navy/USMC/United States Coast Guard O-Level/I-Level CNAFINST series
  • Experience supporting IPTs and ITTs is preferred
  • Rotary Wing Aircraft experience within the last 5 years is required

Security Clearance:

  • Position requires the ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance and maintain a favorable Tier 5 background investigation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • S-92, VH-92A, VH-3D, and VH-60N experience is preferred
