Electrical Substation Engineer

As an Electrical Substation Engineer, you will collaborate closely with seasoned engineers, taking on responsibilities that include:

  • Engaging in teamwork under the guidance of Project Managers and Senior Engineers.
  • Collaborating with Designers and CAD Technicians to produce drawings that comply with national design standards and project specifications.
  • Creating engineering drawings, calculations, analyses, reports, and designs for electrical substations across various voltage levels.
  • Developing designs that encompass one-line diagrams, protection and control schematics, wiring diagrams, SCADA systems, and physical layouts of substations.
  • Preparing specifications and as-built drawings for construction documentation.
  • Potential travel may be necessary.
  • Executing additional duties as required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • EIT/FE certification is highly desirable. Candidates without this certification will hold the title of 'Coordinator' and will be expected to pursue certification for career advancement.
  • Preference will be given to candidates from the local area.
  • Experience in substation design is strongly preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical focus.
  • A strong desire for professional growth and obtaining registration.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Revit, SKM, AGI, and EasyPower.
