Sales Account Executive

As a Sales Account Executive at Modigent, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and fostering enduring relationships with principal clients throughout our targeted statewide markets. Your main responsibility will involve generating opportunities, spearheading sales initiatives, and acquiring new projects across our broad spectrum of existing and prospective services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Use all internal and external resources to position Modigent as the industry thought leader.
- Encourage a team selling environment that utilizes subject matter experts to provide unique and value-driven solutions to our customers.
- Operate as the lead point of contact for assigned customers.
- Develop, present, and maintain Account Management plans for assigned customers.
- Maintain accurate sales activity and sales forecast information in the company CRM and other tools.
- Present products and services to existing and future customers.
- Maintain the highest level of customer service with external and internal customers.
- Negotiate terms of agreements and closing of sales.
- Ensure timely delivery of proposals to customers.
- Create detailed proposal documents and presentations.
- Gain a clear understanding of customers' needs and requirements.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge in the HVAC industry.
- Negotiate with customers, solve problems, and ensure deadlines are met.
- Have a full understanding of market contracts, best practices, and competition.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a customer to securing a deal.
- Provide professional after-sales support to enhance customer dedication.
- Remain in frequent contact with customers to understand their needs.
- Attend internal and external conferences, training, meetings, and industry events.

Supervisory Responsibility:
No direct reports will be assigned in this position, but managing internal relationships and team building is key.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment, on our customers' job sites, and remotely. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, tablets, estimating, and CRM systems.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position, and regular hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.; however, this position can regularly require long hours and frequent weekend work.
Travel:
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
Education and Experience:
5+ years of identified HVAC market experience, commercial construction sales, or account management. A Bachelor's degree in business, mechanical engineering, communication, marketing, or a related field, or extensive, proven relevant industry experience is preferred.
