Medical Technologist PRN
Doctors Hospital of Augusta is seeking a Medical Technologist PRN to join our team. As a Medical Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing patients and physicians with accurate and timely results to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory procedures and report results in a timely manner.
- Exercise independent judgment under moderate supervision.
- Organize workload to achieve efficiency and maintain quality control.
- Ensure proper operation of laboratory equipment and maintain a well-kept work area.
- Practice infection control and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Current registration as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Technologist by ASCP.
- BS in Medical Technology or Baccalaureate degree plus completion of a NAACLS accredited Medical Technology program.
- Hospital laboratory experience preferred.
