Responsibilities:

* Accurately scan and ring out customer purchases
* Provide change to customers
* Follow proper procedure for closing out the register at the end of the shift
* Request additional help as needed to maintain customer service levels
* Offer assistance to customers with large purchases
* Replenish inventory from in-store stock and incoming orders
* Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a professional and clean checkout area
* Assist in the maintenance of general store cleanliness
* Replenish register supplies as needed
* Answer the phone using an appropriate greeting and maintain customer service levels
* Assist in inventory management, price marking, and merchandising of the checkout area and surrounding departments
* React to potential shoplifters following company policy
* Assist in the implementation of Kinney Standard of Presentation (Merchandising)
* Assist in ordering replacement product from the appropriate supplier
* Assist in identifying and returning outdated or overstocked merchandise
* Accurately package and prepare items for home/business delivery
* Complete all mandatory and regulatory training programs

Requirements:

* Must be available and on-time for scheduled work shifts
* Preferred: 0-1 years of previous experience in a related position
* Special Conditions of Employment:

* Drug test
* Initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring
* Any and all additional eligibility requirements based on the specific position

Compensation:

* $ an hour

The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience, and education.
