Job Summary

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to play a critical role in helping Awecomm meet its revenue goals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building opportunity pipelines and consistently achieving sales quota.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving the sales process from inception to close, generating new opportunities through cold calling, email, social media, and other methods of outreach. The successful candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills, a high level of organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet sales forecasts and drive revenue growth
  • Actively seek and participate in business development and networking opportunities
  • Generate new opportunities through cold calling, email, social media, and other methods of outreach
  • Lead customer meetings and position the company as a market leader
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach to gain customer buy-in on Awecomm's value proposition
  • Manage the sales cycle from start to finish
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and prospect interactions in Salesforce
  • Prepare proposals and clearly articulate our solution
  • Represent Awecomm at conferences, trade shows, and other events to promote sales
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in IT
  • Experience meeting with Business Owners, Executive Level, and C-Suite prospects
  • Proficiency in both oral and written communication, with strong negotiation skills
  • Track record of success selling to the small and medium size business segment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience working with virtual selling tools, CRM software, and digital communication platforms
