POSITION OVERVIEW

Oversee communication of service requirements to culinary teams and support staff during events. Accurately calculate charges for group functions and prepare invoices for client review. Ensure that banquet facilities, dining areas, and refreshment stations are fully prepared for service. Confirm that all tables are adorned with appropriate centerpieces. Conduct thorough inspections of all dining ware, including china, glassware, and silverware, prior to service. Engage with guests to assess their satisfaction levels. Arrange tables in accordance with event specifications and service protocols. Relay any special dietary needs, allergies, or unique requests to the kitchen staff. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workspaces throughout the event.

Adhere to all organizational and safety protocols; report any incidents, injuries, or hazardous conditions to management; complete necessary safety training and certifications. Ensure that uniforms and personal appearance are professional and tidy, maintain confidentiality of sensitive information, and safeguard company resources. Greet and acknowledge all guests in line with company standards. Communicate effectively and professionally with colleagues and answer phone calls with proper etiquette. Foster positive working relationships with team members, support collective objectives, and respond appropriately to the concerns of fellow employees. Uphold quality standards and expectations. Safely move, lift, carry, push, pull, and position items weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance. Remain in a standing, sitting, or walking position for extended periods. Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by Supervisors.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or equivalent G.E.D.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a related field.
Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year in a leadership role.
Licenses or Certifications: None required.
