Position Overview:
The IT Infrastructure Specialist will play a crucial role in managing, maintaining, and enhancing our organization's IT systems. This position involves supervising server operations, managing network infrastructure, and ensuring the security and efficiency of our technological resources.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and maintain both physical and virtual servers, including performing backups, applying patches, and optimizing performance.

- Design, implement, and support the organization's network infrastructure (LAN/WAN), including firewalls, routers, and switches.

- Ensure system security by enforcing security policies and managing security tools.

- Conduct regular audits of systems and generate detailed reports on performance and security.

- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation and operational procedures.

- Implement and manage cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, Entra, etc.) as required.

- Provide technical assistance and support to end-users and IT personnel.

- Engage in disaster recovery planning and execution.

- Assist in the planning and upgrading of MDF/IDF rooms.

- Monitor and enhance network connectivity.

- Install server hardware and software as needed.

- Stay informed about the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our systems remain current and effective.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in systems administration.

- 2-4 years of experience in a similar role.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Strong expertise in server virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).

- Proficient in network hardware and protocols.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Entra).

- Solid understanding of system security principles and best practices.

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

- Familiarity with Windows, Mac OS, iOS, and Windows Server.

- Comprehensive knowledge of Active Directory, vSphere, SharePoint, PowerShell, SCCM, LDAP, Project Management, and MDM.

- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, etc.) are advantageous.

The salary range for this full-time, exempt position is between $80,000 and $100,000, depending on experience level.
