Become a part of the Mizuho team as a Systems Infrastructure Specialist.

Position Overview:

The Systems Infrastructure Specialist plays a crucial role in establishing, configuring, and overseeing the backend infrastructure. The primary technologies involved encompass computing, storage, and virtualization (both server and desktop). This individual will collaborate closely with both internal and external teams to provide insights and design infrastructure solutions that address business challenges and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with various IT and business teams to evaluate and recommend solution designs for business challenges and requirements.
  • Execute the implementation of the proposed solution designs.
  • Innovate and deploy solutions that enhance deployment efficiency.
  • Address and manage incoming inquiries related to all technologies via calls and/or emails.
  • Assess and deliver swift resolutions for production incidents.
  • Generate and maintain comprehensive system documentation, ensuring that runbooks are current and precise.
  • Formulate and document new standards for both existing and emerging technologies.
  • Develop runbooks for systems and services, documenting system configurations and designs.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Profound foundational knowledge of supporting technologies, including Networking, Hardware, Virtualization, and other enterprise software.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capability to thrive in high-pressure environments while maintaining composure.
  • Must be a proactive self-starter, capable of following through from issue identification to resolution.

  • In-office presence required for two days a week, subject to change.

The anticipated base salary ranges from $101,000 to $150,000. Salary offers are determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and applicable certifications and licenses. Market and organizational factors are also taken into account. In addition to salary, a comprehensive employee benefits package is available, and successful candidates may qualify for a discretionary bonus.
