Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care to residents as prescribed by the physician and in accordance with standards of nursing practices, regulations, and directed by the Director of Nursing.
  • Lead or direct licensed and non-professional staff in the delivery of direct resident care and support functions.
  • Maintain acceptable standards of patient care and a professional approach with confidentiality.
  • Cooperate and maintain good rapport with nursing staff, medical staff, other departments, and visitors.
  • Obtain and document nursing history from the patient and/or significant others that is comprehensive of present conditions and prior problems.
  • Record vital signs, notes, and changes.

Requirements:

  • Ability to provide nursing care to residents as prescribed by the physician and in accordance with standards of nursing practices, regulations, and directed by the Director of Nursing.
  • Leadership skills to lead or direct licensed and non-professional staff in the delivery of direct resident care and support functions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to maintain good rapport with nursing staff, medical staff, other departments, and visitors.
