Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field, and 7+ years of human resources experience, including 3+ years in an HR leadership role. Experience with HR Analytics and proficiency in Microsoft Office are also required.

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional weekend work may be required. The Human Resources Director must be authorized to work in the USA or be a Canadian citizen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.
  • Oversee and direct activities relating to personnel rules and regulations, staffing, employee education and training, management development, employee relations, workers compensation administration, benefits administration, and salary administration.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to forecast workforce needs, including skills development, succession planning, and workforce optimization.
  • Partners with business leaders to create and sustain a culture of high performance, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct employee engagement surveys and implement improvement initiatives based on feedback.
  • Utilize HR analytics to make informed decisions related to workforce planning, employee engagement, and talent development.
  • Approves and directs new employee onboarding to foster positive attitude toward company goals.
  • Investigates problems incidental to sound and uniform personnel administration, such as working conditions, disciplinary actions, and employee and applicant appeals. Provides guidance and recommendations for problem resolutions.
  • Plans and oversees employee benefit programs. Keeps records of insurance coverage, and personnel transactions, such as hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations.
  • Prepares budget for human resources operations.
  • Conducts wage surveys within the labor market to determine competitive wage rate.
  • Conducts research to determine the effectiveness of personnel programs and policies.
  • Develops and proposes improvements to policies, programs, and procedures to improve the effectiveness of human resources and operations.
  • Administers pre-employment tests to applicants.
  • Prepares for ISO 9001 and other audits.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
  • 7+ years of human resources experience.
  • 3+ years in an HR leadership role.
  • Experience with HR Analytics.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Canadian citizen or authorized to work in the USA.
