Position Overview:
The Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Registered Nursing Staff in delivering exceptional care within the Emergency Department.

Key Responsibilities:
The EMS Coordinator will:

  • Assist in the provision of emergency nursing care under the guidance of nursing professionals.
  • Ensure adherence to established protocols and procedures for patient care.
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development to maintain competencies.

Qualifications:
Educational Background:
Candidates must possess:

  • A post-secondary diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of all necessary training and competencies related to the role.

Experience:
Relevant experience in emergency medical services is required.

Certifications:
Applicants must hold:

  • PA Paramedic Certification or PA EMT Certification, to be obtained within the first year of employment.
  • BLS Certification, to be acquired within 60 days of starting the position.
