Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist II to join our team at Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of routine and specialized diagnostic radiology procedures, including X-ray and Fluoroscopy exams of moderate to high complexity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiology procedures, including X-ray and Fluoroscopy exams, with a focus on delivering high-quality images and exceptional patient care.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of radiology procedures, protocols, and safety guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide education and training to Radiologic Technologist I and students, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for process improvement and contributing to the development of best practices.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s) indicated below in the Certifications, Licenses and Registrations section.
  • Three years' experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • ARRT-R - Radiologic Technologist - Radiographer (ARRT) certification.
  • CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist - State Licensure or CMRT-Temp - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist - Temporary State Licensure.
  • BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated expertise in radiology procedures, protocols, and safety guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care and exceptional customer service.
