We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist II to join our team at Houston Methodist Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of routine and specialized diagnostic radiology procedures, including X-ray and Fluoroscopy exams of moderate to high complexity.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic radiology procedures, including X-ray and Fluoroscopy exams, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care and adhering to radiation safety standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of radiology procedures, including positioning, physiology, and technical factors.
- Provide education and training to Radiologic Technologist I and students, promoting a positive and constructive learning environment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for corrective action and process improvement.
- Graduate of an education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s) indicated below.
- Three years' experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
- ARRT-R - Radiologic Technologist - Radiographer (ARRT) AND CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist - State Licensure OR CMRT-Temp - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist - Temporary State Licensure AND BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA).
