Job Title: Substance Use Dependency Professional Trainee

Job Summary:

Lifeline Connections is a community-based behavioral health organization that provides confidential and compassionate care to individuals experiencing substance use and/or mental health conditions. We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Substance Use Dependency Professional Trainee to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide counseling and case management services to clients
  • Assist supervisory staff and Program Director in program review and daily management of treatment activities
  • Train and orient junior staff and trainees
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Lead treatment groups and provide crisis intervention services
  • Document relevant clinical information and provide written and oral reports
  • Collaborate with other staff members and community agencies to provide comprehensive care

Requirements:

  • College coursework in Substance Use Dependency, Human Sciences, or related field
  • Successful completion of at least one course per quarter/semester toward educational requirements for an active Washington State Department of Health SUDP credential
  • Knowledge of therapeutic approaches and ability to set and maintain therapeutic limits
  • Autonomy, clinical maturity, sound judgment, and creativity to develop and implement treatment plans
