Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join our finance team and contribute to our ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • General Ledger Management: Oversee and maintain the general ledger, including reconciliation of accounts, journal entries, and month-end close processes.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Internal Controls: Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Audit Support: Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits, preparing necessary documentation and responding to audit inquiries.
  • Expense Management: Review and approve expense reports, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to company policies.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and recommend improvements to accounting processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to junior accountants and finance team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team Player: Collaborative attitude with a proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
