Key Responsibilities of an Inventory Specialist/Load Coordinator
  • Ensure materials are verified for quality and accuracy, facilitating timely delivery to customers.
  • Organize and secure loads in accordance with safety protocols to prevent accidents and damage.
  • Assist with the manual or forklift unloading and loading of materials, ensuring proper handling.
  • Deliver prompt, friendly, and precise service to customers, aiding them in safely loading materials.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by labeling and organizing materials in stock for efficient operations.
  • Prepare loads for outbound deliveries, carefully packaging and arranging items for transport.
  • Assist customers in selecting merchandise and pulling items as required for checkouts.
  • Transport materials and make deliveries using company vehicles as necessary.
  • Adapt to working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications for Success
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience in construction or building materials is preferred but not mandatory.
  • 1+ year of forklift operation experience is advantageous.
  • A valid Driver's License is necessary.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 100 lbs with assistance, climb ladders, and stock items in elevated areas.
  • Frequent standing and walking are required.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays, to meet business demands.
