Human Resources Administrative Assistant

Job Summary:
The Human Resources Administrative Assistant - Support Specialist is responsible for providing administrative support to the Director of Human Resources and the Human Resources team in creating an environment that supports and rewards Team Members for providing exceptional customer service and delivering results.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of executive support related tasks, including scheduling appointments, making travel arrangements, and preparing confidential correspondence. They must be able to work well in a fast-paced and sometimes pressured environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Director of Human Resources and the Human Resources team, including scheduling appointments, making travel arrangements, and preparing confidential correspondence.
- Assist with the maintenance of an appropriate level of supply inventory for the Human Resources offices, as well as ordering and receiving all supplies for the department.
- Conduct themselves in a gracious, kind, and warm manner that creates a sense of fondness, as well as a professional, courteous, and responsive manner, which reflects positively on the company and its core values.
- Assist with uniform dissemination and inventories.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Minimum of five years of experience in an administrative capacity.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and sometimes pressured environment.
- Flexibility, proactivity, resourcefulness, and efficiency with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Expert level written and verbal skills.
- Ability to type 60 W.P.M.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access.

The Human Resources Administrative Assistant - Support Specialist will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality required at all times. They must be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Regulatory and Compliance Responsibilities:
- Attend required training sessions offered by the casino.
- Obtain required licenses.
- Perform duties in compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Take necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.
- Have knowledge of ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the team member's department.
- Adhere to Internal Control Procedures and Policies.
- Report illegal activity to Security or the appropriate levels of Management.
