As a Client Account Manager - Component Parts, you will serve as a key point of contact between operations, engineering, materials, sales, and clients for product transactions across various customer types (transactional, contractual, field service, etc.). You will identify and implement strategies to enhance the customer experience while meeting the financial objectives of the business unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a representative for both external and internal clients, showing accountability and a commitment to excellence.
- Embrace change, proactively identifying potential challenges before they occur.
- Foster relationships with both external and internal stakeholders.
- Receive, process, and confirm induction information and/or customer orders for purchases using company systems and customer purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
- Confirm, document, and communicate customer requirements and expectations to relevant team members.
- Manage documentation in accordance with company, customer, and regulatory standards. Ensure required information is entered into the appropriate systems.
- Update requests for work scope/order modifications, maintaining order information files, and communicating changes to relevant personnel.
- Provide clients with product details including pricing, scheduling, delivery, and availability of alternatives. Serve as the main contact between the client and production operations regarding expected completion dates and shipment tracking.
- Validate inventory costs, clarify pricing, and manage customer expectations regarding estimate changes.
- Continuously monitor and analyze cost projections, suggesting corrective actions as necessary.
- Assist in resolving warranty claims and managing core credits and debits for claims and invoice discrepancies.
- Proficient in PC use within the current company operating system, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with products/engines/accessories relevant to the business unit is highly preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Authorization to work in the US is necessary.
- Strong planning, organizational, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, with experience in negotiation and customer service.
- Demonstrates patience, tact, and empathy in interactions with others.
