Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY

The Quality Assurance Inspector II plays a crucial role in evaluating products throughout various phases of the manufacturing process. This position involves gathering and analyzing statistical data to ensure the quality and dependability of products through personal efforts or collaboration with team members.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Adhere to all quality inspection protocols established by the organization during the production cycle.
  • Record inspection findings by completing necessary reports and logs.
  • Maintain measurement instruments by following specified operating procedures.
  • Comply with Clean Room, Soldering, and Assembly quality standards.
  • Conduct component testing, gather, and document data accurately.
  • Assist in preparing for and facilitating Customer Source Inspections as needed.
  • Manage the shipping and receiving of test components from external service providers.
  • Follow test plan documentation and ensure all quality assurance functions are executed as required.
  • Collaborate with production teams to enhance procedures, workflows, and documentation practices.
  • Adhere to company standards related to ISO 9001 and AS9100.
  • Identify discrepancies in existing production documentation and support quality and engineering teams in implementing corrective measures.
  • Promote a safe and healthy work environment by following established standards and legal regulations.
  • Enhance job knowledge through participation in relevant educational opportunities.
  • Achieve quality and organizational objectives by completing related tasks as necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma or equivalent educational background.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in an electronics manufacturing setting.
  • Previous experience in an ISO-certified manufacturing environment.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Proficient in report writing and documenting processes.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of manufacturing ERP software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues in existing practices.
