POSITION SUMMARY
The Quality Assurance Inspector II plays a crucial role in the evaluation of products throughout the manufacturing process. This position involves the collection and analysis of statistical data to ensure product quality and reliability, either independently or in collaboration with team members.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adhere to established quality control protocols during the production process.
- Compile inspection findings by preparing detailed reports and logs.
- Maintain measurement tools by following operational guidelines.
- Uphold Clean Room, Soldering, and Assembly standards.
- Conduct component testing, gathering and documenting relevant data.
- Assist in preparation for Customer Source Inspections as necessary.
- Manage the shipping and receiving of test components from external service providers.
- Follow test plan documentation to ensure compliance with all quality assurance functions.
- Collaborate with production teams to enhance procedures, workflows, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.
- Identify discrepancies in production documentation and work with quality and engineering teams to implement corrective measures.
- Promote a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to legal and company standards.
- Enhance job knowledge through participation in educational programs.
- Support the quality and organizational objectives by completing related tasks as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in an electronics manufacturing setting.
- Experience in an ISO certified manufacturing environment is preferred.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Proficient in report writing and process documentation.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of manufacturing ERP software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
