IXL Learning, a leading EdTech company, is seeking a skilled Account Manager to join its Customer Success team in Raleigh, NC.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for K-12 education, account management, and customer success. In this role, you will develop relationships with educational administrators across the US to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the customer life-cycle.

You will be responsible for subscription renewal, upsell, customer retention, and engagement activities in assigned territory.

This is a full-time position in our Raleigh, NC office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactive outreach to customers with expiring subscriptions through phone and targeted campaigns to secure subscription renewal and drive expansion in your assigned territory
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers to ensure customer engagement throughout the life of the subscription
  • Develop a deep understanding of IXL's products and what sets us apart from competing programs
  • Develop a keen understanding of customer needs and values in order to provide the best customer experience and maximize product usage and engagement
  • Effectively communicate new product enhancements and benefits to existing customers virtually
  • Develop and manage targeted campaigns to upsell and expand within existing accounts
  • Conduct regular territory review meetings with internal stakeholders to communicate general territory health, trends, including changes to strategic direction
  • Accurately track all customer-related activities, communication, and opportunity tracking in CRM
  • Gather customer feedback to help improve and enhance product offerings
Requirements
  • BA/BS Degree is required
  • 1-2 years experience in Account Management/Customer Success, Renewal Sales, or Inside Sales
  • Classroom experience and/or a related educational field preferred
  • Exceptional phone skills
  • Comfortable with technology and passionate about bringing technology into the classroom
  • Energetic self-starter with a track record of exceeding goals and who thrives in a fast-paced team environment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and exceptionally organized
  • Exceptional critical thinking, research, and problem-solving skills
  • Experienced with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Proven ability to work effectively across teams
