Accounting Manager

Key Responsibilities- Support the production of internal investment documents and communicate key findings and recommendations.
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, as well as complementary reports needed to complete the reporting package.
- Maintain the General Ledger, including chart of accounts maintenance, ledger entries, and other related tasks.
- Oversee the books, records, and schedule of investments and ledgers for multiple holdings.
- Track costs for a diverse collection of capital improvement and operations projects.
- Compile and report annual budgets.
- Optimize tax planning, including spearheading preparation and information gathering for annual tax filings, performing high-level compliance reviews, and maintaining knowledge of new tax issues and general business trends.
- Conduct investment analysis, participate in deal structuring, and coordinate due diligence execution and support transaction negotiations.
- Interface with internal and external parties as needed.
- Schedule accounting and tax engagements and monitor timelines for all deliverables.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in the family office/wealth management industry, including a foundation in public accounting and demonstrated skills and experience in providing quality financial management, accounting, tax planning, and reporting for individuals, trusts, and other entities.
