Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of five years of professional experience in the Accounting or Finance sector.
  • At least two years of expertise in both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in requisite competencies.
  • Ability to adhere to the established Competency Matrix.
  • Consistent embodiment of the core values upheld by the organization.
Primary Duties:
  • Perform reconciliations of general ledger accounts to ensure the accuracy of data and correct any discrepancies identified.
  • Carry out month-end closing procedures accurately and on schedule as designated.
  • Prepare, evaluate, and present financial trends and data to senior management.
  • Compile annual working papers for CPA review/audit, company assessments, and ESOP Administration.
  • Act as a backup for the Accounting Specialist when required.
  • Update the company’s forecasting software under the supervision of the Controller.
  • Identify potential cost-saving measures through thorough financial trend analysis.
  • Review, verify, and upload payroll documentation into the ERP system.
  • Process new fixed assets in the Fixed Asset Software and maintain accurate records of acquisitions.
  • Keep long-term debt documentation current and updated.
  • Conduct inventory reconciliations for spot checks and cycle counts, providing analytical insights to the Controller and Inventory Control Specialist.
