Job Overview

We are currently seeking a Senior Financial Manager to play a pivotal role in our financial operations.

The Senior Financial Manager will collaborate closely with the CFO and the executive leadership team to oversee the company's financial health. This position is essential for ensuring precise financial reporting, adherence to accounting standards, and the effective management of financial resources, all of which are vital for our ongoing growth and reputation for financial excellence.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
  • Prepare and deliver timely and accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Work with department heads and senior management to develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Conduct regular financial analyses to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction and revenue growth.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax laws, and other financial reporting obligations.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Act as the primary liaison for external auditors during audits.
  • Establish and maintain robust internal controls to protect company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
  • Provide strategic financial insights to aid in decision-making and long-term planning.

Qualifications:

  • CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the machinery manufacturing sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial systems management and optimization.
  • In-depth knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.
  • Expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial software such as AccountMate, Deacom, and Global Shop.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position requiring on-site presence during standard business hours.
