Job Summary

NETZSCH United States is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our accounting operations, you will work closely with our Controller to analyze profitability, conduct cost studies, and provide detailed financial information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct studies to provide detailed cost information and analyze profitability on a job basis.
  • Accounting Operations: Participate in monthly closing processes, including posting recurring journal entries, creating and archiving work papers, and resolving variances.
  • Cost Accounting: Analyze and audit job-specific costs, prepare reports for management analysis, and compile cost information for budget preparation.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Provide management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability, and maintain cost accounting systems within our ERP.
  • Special Projects: Assist in audits, GL preparation, physical inventories, and other duties as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related business field.
  • Experience: At least five years of related accounting experience, with industry experience and/or public accounting experience a plus.
  • Skills: Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, SAP experience a plus, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
