Job Description

Sanisure LLC is a leading manufacturer of single-use bioprocessing solutions used in the production of biological drugs, including monoclonal antibodies, cell therapies, gene therapies, and vaccines. With operations in the U.S. and in Europe, Sanisure operates a platform of vertically integrated critical fluid management technologies and integrated solutions. Its single-use products and system solutions are sold to global pharma and biotech companies and are used from R&D through full-scale commercial cGMP manufacturing of among the most innovative large molecule therapeutics and vaccines.

This role is expected to be on-site and will require travel to customer locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the growth of Sanisure's offerings into the Bioprocessing market across the US. This individual will be the subject matter expert for BIOPROCESSING applications for Sanisure, providing support to the wider Sales team and R&D team in this field.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Product Management:
    • Contribute to certain aspects of product management, such as pricing strategy, competitive analysis, and product lifecycle management.
    • Create and socialize the strategic direction of the product family with product roadmapping and supporting analysis through business cases and financial modelling.
    • Continuously gather Voice of Customer from the market to ensure Sanisure and Product Family meets the needs of the customer.
    • Continuously monitor market dynamics and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats.
    • Product Launch Management - Work closely with the marketing team to develop marketing collateral, campaigns, and messaging tailored for responsible product lines.
    • Collaborate with R&D, Marketing and external partners to identify and recommend scientific and application content creation opportunities.
  2. Subject Matter Expertise:
    • Serve as one of the primary sources of subject matter expertise for the Rigid Container, Caps, Tubing and Component product families within Sanisure.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies in the Bioprocessing space.
    • Educate and train the wider sales team on the nuances of the Bioprocessing market to enhance their understanding and effectiveness in selling Sanisure's products.
  3. Market Penetration and Customer Engagement:
    • Identify and target potential customers within the Bioprocessing sector specific to Product Family responsibilities.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in target organizations, including scientists, researchers, users, procurement officers, and other decision-makers.
    • Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand customers' challenges, preferences, and requirements related to Sanisure's products.
    • Develop tailored solutions and value propositions to address customer needs and maximize sales opportunities.
  4. Sales Strategy Execution:
    • Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to achieve revenue targets and expand market share for all responsible product lines.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including upselling and cross-selling to existing customers.
    • Participate in the negotiation of contracts and agreements with customers, ensuring alignment with Sanisure's business objectives and policies.
  5. Product Development Support:
    • Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams, including R&D and marketing, to provide insights and feedback on customer requirements.
    • Collaborate with the R&D team to translate customer needs into product development initiatives.
    • Assist in the formulation of product strategy and roadmap for Sanisure's offerings for all product lines.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven Sales Achievement: Demonstrated success in setting and achieving sales targets, within the Bioprocessing industry.
  • In-depth Knowledge of Bioprocessing Market: Extensive understanding of the Bioprocessing market, including knowledge of industry trends, regulatory requirements, and key players. Experience working directly within the Bioprocessing space or related fields is essential.
  • Expertise in Customer Engagement: Strong ability to engage with customers at various levels within organizations, including scientists, users, researchers, procurement officers, and decision-makers. Proven track record of conducting effective needs assessments and delivering tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex scientific and technical concepts clearly and persuasively. Experience delivering presentations and engaging with diverse stakeholders is essential.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, analyze market trends, and identify business opportunities. Proven ability to develop creative solutions to address customer challenges and drive business growth.
  • Independence and Collaboration: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also thriving in a collaborative team environment. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, and operations, to achieve common objectives.
  • Passion for Innovation: Enthusiasm for staying at the forefront of technological advancements and industry developments in the Bioprocessing field. A proactive mindset towards driving innovation and continuous improvement within the organization.
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, chemistry, business administration, or a related discipline is required. Equivalent work experience in sales or the life sciences industry will also be considered. A Masters degree or PhD would be preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Direct Experience in Bioprocessing: Prior experience working directly with SUT products within the Bioprocessing field, either in a scientific or commercial capacity.
  • Product Management Experience: Previous experience in product management roles, particularly in the healthcare or life sciences sector, is desirable. Experience in developing and executing product strategies, conducting market analysis, and launching new products is also preferred.
