Healthcare Patient Coordinator | Radiology Imaging Associates
Reporting to the Practice Director of RIA Endovascular

Radiology Imaging Associates (RIA) is a distinguished network of over 100 radiologists, each possessing exceptional expertise and often fellowship-trained in their specialized fields. We collaborate with primary care physicians and hospitals across multiple states to serve as a vital resource for both patients and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and register patients upon arrival
  • Organize and manage appointments and procedures
  • Verify insurance details and collect copayments
  • Address inquiries from patients and referring offices, providing direct responses or triaging as necessary
  • Escort patients to their examination rooms as required
  • Upload radiology images into the Intelleviewer system
  • Assist patients with financial concerns by directing them to appropriate resources within RIA
  • Communicate with referring physician offices to obtain necessary orders and relay pertinent information
  • Support the billing department by gathering essential patient information and ensuring all insurance details are accurately matched for billing
  • Discuss insurance coverage and anticipated service costs with patients
  • Draft and/or transcribe various documents, including letters and reports, within designated timelines
  • Retrieve procedure and office visit reports as needed
  • Perform various clerical tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2-3 years of experience in a medical office setting preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Solid understanding of medical terminology
  • Ability to quickly learn and comprehend Interventional Radiology procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Compensation ranges from $18.50 to $22.50 per hour.
