As a Culinary and Nutrition Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in our Columbine Commons Health & Rehab facility, which features a modern 30-bed skilled nursing and 60-bed assisted living environment designed to meet the community's needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve meals and beverages as directed by the culinary team.
  • Assist in taking meal orders and ensure timely delivery to the kitchen.
  • Provide attentive service to residents, accommodating dietary requirements.
  • Ensure a pleasant dining experience by delivering meals efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in dining areas.
  • Support special dietary needs for individual residents.
  • Help manage salad and specialty bars, including beverage preparation.
  • Conduct thorough cleaning and sanitization of dining utensils and areas.

Qualifications:

  • A genuine interest in geriatric care and the ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Minimum age requirement of 16 years.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive starting wage ranging from $15.00 to $15.75 per hour, based on experience.
