The primary criterion for appointment in this tenure track role is a significant dedication to research, evidenced by a strong track record of research accomplishments, including successful external peer-reviewed funding. The research focus for this position should encompass the investigation of molecular mechanisms related to anterior segment diseases that lead to vision impairment or retinal disorders, along with a commitment to assessing therapeutic strategies for conditions affecting the eye and visual system.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • PhD, DVM, and/or MD degree with relevant postdoctoral training.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in conducting translational research aligned with the responsibilities outlined in this position description and the research mission of the University.
