Introductory Biology Professor

We are seeking a highly qualified Introductory Biology Teaching Professor to join our team at Appalachian State University. As a key member of our department, you will contribute to the development of our progressive introductory biology program.
Key Responsibilities- Teach first semester introductory courses for biology majors and non-majors, with a teaching load of 12 hours per semester.
- Develop and update introductory laboratory curricula to reflect best practices in biology education.
- Contribute to program assessment and evaluation.
- Serve on the Introductory Biology Steering Committee and participate in undergraduate academic advising.
