About the Role:

Kontoor Brands, a leading global apparel company, is seeking a highly skilled Merchandise Analyst to join our team. As a Merchandise Analyst, you will play a critical role in providing data-driven insights to support business decisions and drive growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Global Analytics Manager and Merchandise team to compile financial metrics, including projected assumptions and historical data.
  • Assist in compiling sales performance results for Leadership and track competition through quarterly earnings calls.
  • Monitor monthly inventory and assess its quality, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Develop and design templates to effectively communicate detailed data to stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot data integrity issues with the Business Intelligence Team.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Retail or Manufacturing, preferably in the Apparel industry.
  • Minimum education: Bachelor's degree.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Expertise in analytics and high proficiency in Excel.
  • Experience with data query tools like Alteryx and dashboard tools like Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.
  • Resilience and agility in taking different approaches to reach desired results.
