Position Overview:

We are in search of a Senior Financial Analyst to collaborate closely with the Director and VP of Supply Chain Finance on various financial initiatives. This position entails supporting the annual budgeting process, monthly forecasting, and strategic planning, with an emphasis on analyzing and reporting monthly operational outcomes for our distribution centers in the US and Canada. The successful candidate will work alongside department leaders to enhance future projections and optimize the company's operational efficiency.

Key Duties:

  • Assist the Distribution team with monthly forecasting, reporting, and analytical processes.
  • Deliver comprehensive management reporting and variance analysis for distribution units.
  • Contribute to enhancements in financial reporting and lead special projects as required.
  • Communicate effectively with managers and engineers regarding financial outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Finance or Business Analysis.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel and the PowerBI platform.
  • Familiarity with financial software and databases.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to present financial information to management.
  • Excellent strategic thinking skills.
  • Capacity to manage sensitive financial data with discretion.
