Position Summary:

We are in search of a Senior Financial Analyst to collaborate closely with the Director and VP of Supply Chain Finance on a variety of financial initiatives. This position entails assisting in the annual budgeting process, monthly forecasting, and strategic planning, with an emphasis on evaluating and reporting monthly operational outcomes for our distribution centers across the US and Canada. The successful candidate will work in partnership with department leaders to enhance future forecasts and elevate the company's operational efficiency.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Distribution team with monthly forecasting, reporting, and analytical processes.
  • Deliver comprehensive management reports and variance analyses for distribution units.
  • Contribute to enhancements in financial reporting and spearhead special projects as required.
  • Guide managers and engineers in understanding financial outcomes through effective communication.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in Finance or Business Analysis.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel and the PowerBI platform.
  • Familiarity with financial software and databases.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficient in presenting financial information to management.
  • Excellent strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to manage sensitive financial data with discretion.
