Position Summary
A Restoration Technician is tasked with managing daily mitigation and remediation projects, handling new and ongoing referrals, and ensuring effective communication with customers and management to fulfill their responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be accessible via phone and email during scheduled work hours
  • Engage in daily communication with the Operations Manager and Assistant Operations Manager
  • Oversee the maintenance of a company-provided vehicle
    • Familiarity with Fleet Vehicle Handbook, Safety Data Sheets, Equipment, Tools, and Vehicle Maintenance
  • Keep daily records updated in the MICA application
  • Be on-call and available 24/7 during assigned rotations
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, insurance representatives, and team members
  • Exhibit strong time management skills when managing existing and new tasks
  • Adhere to safety protocols and utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Interpret and understand mold remediation estimates to initiate new projects
Qualifications
  • Experience in restoration (mitigation, remediation, construction) is advantageous
  • Familiarity with insurance claims processes is beneficial
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Experience in CAT situations and assisting other regions
  • Proficient in using iPad features
  • Ability to follow instructions and listen attentively
  • Capable of lifting and maneuvering heavy equipment and materials
  • IICRC certifications (WRT/ASD) are a plus
