Executive Sous Chef Opportunity at The Shenandoah Club

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our team at The Shenandoah Club. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of all menu items, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and storage of food and supplies, minimizing waste and optimizing costs.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement new menu ideas and specials.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a high-volume restaurant or hotel kitchen.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and best production practices.
  • A.O.S. degree in Culinary Science or relevant field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
