Job Overview

The Shenandoah Club is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to standard recipes and presentation specifications
  • Ensure all workstations, counters, cooking equipment, and refrigerators are clean and sanitary according to health and safety rules
  • Work effectively with other kitchen staff to maintain a smooth and efficient kitchen operation
  • Adhere to established storage and waste control standards for meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products to ensure quality food is served
  • Assemble and maintain a system of food stations and fill them with everything needed for the shift
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous food service industry experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members
  • Ability to understand and comply with kitchen sanitation, safety, and equipment usage, and food storage
