About the Role

JobTrain is seeking a skilled Career Development Specialist to join our team and help build and run a new career coaching service for our Health Care Career Pathway alumni.

The successful candidate will work closely with a cross-functional team to develop a program that supports our alumni as they plan their careers. This will involve leveraging research and findings about clients and their needs, working with topic-specific consultants, and running micro-experiments within the program to test new services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Collaborate with the Career Development team and other stakeholders to design and implement a career coaching program that meets the needs of our alumni.
  • Coaching: Provide one-on-one support to alumni, helping them plan their career paths, access local career resources, and build their professional networks.
  • Outcomes Measurement: Work with the Career Development team to measure the effectiveness of the program and identify areas for improvement.
  • Codification: Document the program's processes and procedures to ensure seamless handovers and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in career coaching or recruiting
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills
  • Ability to work with diverse clients and stakeholders
  • Basic administrative skills and familiarity with database platforms like Salesforce
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry is a plus
