Job Title: Assistant HVAC Project Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Assistant HVAC Project Manager to support our projects in the mechanical construction sector. The successful candidate will have a solid work history and a minimum of five years of expertise in managing mechanical projects, particularly in the HVAC and sheet metal domains. This position demands a comprehensive understanding of overseeing extensive projects, ensuring timely completion, adherence to budget constraints, and maintaining exceptional quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the management and supervision of significant HVAC projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and project requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with project teams, including engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers, to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the project phases.
  • Support the Project Manager in monitoring project budgets, recognizing cost-saving opportunities, and achieving financial goals.
  • Implement and uphold stringent quality control protocols to ensure that all installations meet established standards and client satisfaction.
  • Identify potential challenges and collaborate with the project team to devise mitigation strategies, ensuring the project remains on track and within defined parameters.

Qualifications

  • Must be a resident of the Bay Area with a consistent employment record in the mechanical construction field.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in mechanical project management, specifically in HVAC and sheet metal projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, sheet metal applications, and project management tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a proven capacity to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
