Job Summary

Axle Informatics is a leading bioscience and information technology company that offers cutting-edge solutions in translational research, biomedical informatics, and data science applications to research centers and healthcare organizations worldwide.

We are seeking a highly skilled Contracts Administrator to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our contracts unit, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and generating metrics related to awarded contracts and task orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records and generate metrics related to awarded contracts and task orders.
  • Develop and maintain approved contract templates.
  • Create and maintain contract information tracking in database and spreadsheets.
  • Manage new vendor process and coordinate with finance for system activation.
  • Assist in drafting standard operating procedures and other documentation.
  • Prepare and finalize vendor agreements.
  • Organize and prepare documentation for contract/task order kickoffs.
  • Provide support to the corporate contracts unit and other internal groups to ensure compliance with company policy, procedures, and controls.
  • Assist with project set up process and saving folders in SharePoint / Contracts Drive / MS Dynamics.
  • Manage contract management tools and create new tools leading to effective automation.
  • Monitor vendor performance and deliverables.
  • Prepare cost proposal for new opportunities in collaboration with Business Development.
  • Perform contract closeout.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent administrative experience.
  • 3-5 years minimum contracts management experience.

Desired Skills:

  • Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel mandatory) and Microsoft Dynamics preferred.
  • Strong professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate a knowledge of US Federal Government contract terms and conditions.
  • Organized with excellent follow-up skills, ability to think creatively, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service to internal/external clients.
