About the Role

We are seeking a part-time Qualified Medication Aide to join our team at Rockville Correctional Facility in Indiana. As a QMA, you will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse and/or other medical staff to administer medications and document drug dosages and times of administration.

Responsibilities
  • Assist nurses in administering medications and documenting dosages and times of administration
  • Take vital signs and assist in examinations and treatments
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living
  • Monitor patients to report changes in their conditions
Requirements
  • Graduation from a Medication Aide training program and QMA certification
  • Current CPR certification
  • One year experience in acute care, long term care, emergency or correctional setting preferred
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screen and criminal background check
