We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse II to join our team at the Southern Virginia Mental Health Institute. As a Registered Nurse II, you will provide advanced nursing care for patients with psychiatric disorders in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, as well as nursing standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing medical procedures, and developing individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and develop treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
- Implement and evaluate care plans, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Current and in good standing Registered Nurse license to practice nursing in the Commonwealth of Virginia, or license eligible.
- Multi-state compact endorsement is accepted.
- Valid driver's license.
- Experience as a Registered Nurse in a psychiatric, healthcare facility, acute care, long-term or correctional setting.
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is a plus.
- Competitive salaries: RN II-Starting Pay from $79,572 and increases to commensurate with experience, education, and credentials.
- Total compensation including paid time off and benefits begins at $120,408 for this role.
- Competitive Shift Differentials:
- 1st shift weekend-$5.50 per hour
- 2nd shift-weekday-$5.50 per hour/2nd shift weekend/holidays-$6.00 per hour
- 3rd shift-weekday-$4.00 per hour/3rd shift weekend/holidays-$7.00 per hour
