As a Systems Engineer, you will be an integral part of our team, engaging in a variety of dynamic assignments in a fast-paced setting. Meeting deadlines and adhering to strict timelines is a must.

Eligibility Requirements:
  • U.S. Citizenship is mandatory; a government security clearance will be required.
  • This role is situated in a facility that necessitates special access.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) design.
  • Experience in Systems Engineering Architecture development utilizing SysML with CAMEO.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Engineering discipline with a minimum of 9 years of professional experience, or a Master’s degree with 7 years of experience. Recognized as a Systems Engineering Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Possession of a Final Secret Clearance.

Preferred Skills:
  • Capability to collaborate across various engineering disciplines to derive and decompose requirements.
  • Familiarity with digital engineering environments (e.g., MBSE and digital twin).
  • Experience with operational modeling tools.
  • Proficient in software tools such as MS Excel, JIRA, and Access.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in requirements documentation.

Security Clearance Requirement: This position necessitates a government security clearance; U.S. Citizenship is required for consideration.

Work Environment: This role offers a part-time remote work option, with a portion of the schedule to be discussed during the hiring process.

Flexible Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports various alternate work schedules, providing employees with additional flexibility. Options may include standard 40-hour weeks or condensed schedules, allowing for more time away from the office.

Compensation:

The annual base salary range for this position varies based on location and experience, generally falling between $100,400 and $192,500 in certain states. Salary considerations include the scope of responsibilities, candidate experience, education, and market factors.
