Faculty Position in Integral Counseling Psychology

The California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) is seeking a qualified candidate for a full-time faculty position in the Integral Counseling Psychology (ICP) program. The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching, advising, and mentoring graduate students in the program.
Key Responsibilities- Teach 18 units per year in the ICP program, including courses in clinical foundation and specialty areas
- Advise and mentor graduate students in their academic and professional development
- Participate in faculty and university meetings, and contribute to departmental and university-wide committees
- Engage in scholarly productivity, including research and publication
- Master's or doctoral degree in counseling psychology or a related field
- License to practice as a clinician in the State of California
- Experience teaching in graduate clinical education and training
- Clinical experience in relational and long-term psychotherapy with diverse clients
- Ability to teach at the graduate level in clinical foundation and specialty areas
- Significant training and experience in depth, relational, gestalt, and/or transpersonal psychologies
- Experience in community mental health settings
- Publication record and interest in research
The successful candidate will be expected to work in an office environment at the CIIS campus in San Francisco, CA.
