Faculty Position in Integral Counseling Psychology

The California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) is seeking a qualified candidate for a full-time faculty position in the Integral Counseling Psychology (ICP) program. The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching graduate-level courses, advising students, and contributing to the program's mission and goals.
Responsibilities- Teach 18 units per year, including courses in therapeutic communication, clinical relationships, and transpersonal psychotherapy
- Advise students and provide mentorship in their academic and professional development
- Contribute to the program's curriculum development and assessment
- Participate in departmental and university-wide committees and activities
- Master's or doctoral degree in counseling psychology or a related field
- Experience teaching graduate-level courses in counseling psychology
- Clinical experience in relational and long-term psychotherapy
- Ability to teach courses in transpersonal and depth psychologies
- Experience working with diverse populations and addressing issues of power and privilege
- Experience teaching in feminist, womanist, and liberation psychologies
- Specialization in Black, Latinx, Indigenous, and decolonial psychologies
- Experience in community mental health settings
- Publication record and interest in research
