Job Summary

The California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) is seeking a qualified candidate for a full-time faculty position in the Integral Counseling Psychology (ICP) program. The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching graduate-level courses, advising students, and contributing to the program's mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach 18 units per year, including courses in therapeutic communication, clinical relationships, and transpersonal psychotherapy
  • Advise students and provide mentorship in their academic and professional development
  • Contribute to the program's curriculum development and assessment
  • Participate in departmental and university-wide committees and activities
Qualifications
  • Master's or doctoral degree in counseling psychology or a related field
  • Experience teaching graduate-level courses in counseling psychology
  • Clinical experience in relational and long-term psychotherapy
  • Ability to teach courses in transpersonal and depth psychologies
  • Experience working with diverse populations and addressing issues of power and privilege
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience teaching in feminist, womanist, and liberation psychologies
  • Specialization in Black, Latinx, Indigenous, and decolonial psychologies
  • Experience in community mental health settings
  • Publication record and interest in research
