Faculty Position in Integral Counseling Psychology

The California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) is seeking a qualified candidate for a full-time faculty position in the Integral Counseling Psychology (ICP) Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, advising, and mentoring students in the Master of Arts program.
Key Responsibilities- Teach 18 units per year, including clinical foundation courses and specialty courses
- Advise and mentor students in their academic and professional development
- Attend faculty and university meetings, orientations, and graduations
- Participate in scholarship and publication
- Contribute to departmental and university-wide committees
- Master's or doctoral degree in counseling psychology or a related field
- Licensed clinician (or license-eligible) in the State of California
- Experience teaching in graduate clinical education and training
- Clinical experience in relational and long-term psychotherapy with diverse clients
- Ability to teach clinical foundation courses and specialty courses
- Demonstrated ability to address power, privilege, and oppression in the classroom
- Experience evaluating, advising, and mentoring graduate students
- Interest in scholarly productivity
- Significant training and experience in depth, relational, gestalt, and/or transpersonal psychologies
- Experience practicing and teaching in feminist, womanist, mujerista, LGBTQ+, and/or liberation psychologies
- Specialization in Black psychologies, Latinx psychologies, Indigenous and decolonial psychologies, and/or AMENA psychologies
- Successful experience in community mental health settings
- A publication record and interest in research
The successful candidate will work in an office environment at the CIIS building in San Francisco, CA.
