Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director, Systems Engineering to join our team at Raytheon Careers. As a key member of our Systems Engineering Directorate, you will be responsible for leading multidisciplinary teams of engineering professionals and driving the execution of our ship class programs.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the overall execution of our ship class programs across all disciplines
  • Drive priorities within ship class and coordinate the integrated effort
  • Have cost accountability for the ship class and align product EACs with SOW paragraph funding and contract values
  • Help with technical and programmatic coordination across the engineering teams, CE, PMO, and the customer for the ship class
  • Coordinate closely with the Program Manager(s) regarding budget and schedule
  • Work with Government counterparts to understand status, schedules, priorities, and objectives for events
  • Help manage suppliers for the ship class working alongside the supply chain function
  • Manage staffing for the IPT working with different disciplines
  • Coordinate, write, and deliver technical briefs to both internal and external customers
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in related Systems Engineering or Multi-Disciplined Engineering
  • Experience effectively leading multidisciplinary teams of engineering professionals
  • Experience leading teams and IPTs, using tools and metrics in managing activities, and interfacing with senior program and functional management
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance or higher

The salary range for this role is $143,000 - $287,000. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
