In this role, reporting to the Fire Alarm Manager, you will be responsible for conducting inspections, installations, and servicing a variety of fire alarm devices and suppression systems in accordance with company standards and applicable codes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service, install, maintain, and troubleshoot various fire alarm systems in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Interpret fire alarm data sheets, system manuals, and blueprints as necessary.
  • Coordinate installations with fire departments and manage documentation for emergency call notifications.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including completing service acknowledgments and NFPA Record of Completion documents.
  • Maintain a fully stocked company vehicle to ensure optimal customer service with minimal return trips.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in fire alarm systems or the commercial service industry.
  • NICET certification or equivalent training from recognized manufacturers or institutions.
  • Solid understanding of NFPA 72 standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and operational manuals.
  • Proficient in using computers, including MS Excel and Word, as well as mobile applications.
  • A valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company standards.
Successful completion of a drug test and background screening is mandatory.
